This project aims to demonstrate and boost Tanzania’s rural economy by scaling up the penetration of clean energy-powered appliances for livelihoods. In collaboration with SELCO Foundation the initiative is supporting sixteen Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise (MSMEs) and farmers groups to undertake commercial deployment of renewable energy solutions such solar powered sewing machines, solar powered milking machine. Solar powered pottery wheel, solar powered rice mill and solar powered water pumps and use the generated evidence to catalyse the sector.
